Blake Aaron Potts

Blake Aaron Potts, 25 years young, passed away on September 3, 2017 in Houston. He was born on July 10, 1992 in Galveston to parents, Olen “Keith” Potts and Nina Gail Veronie. Blake was a lifetime resident of Alvin.

He was preceded in death by his Nanny Angie L. Potts; PawPaw Olen Potts; great grandmother, Agnes Veronie; great Grand-PawPaw, Elie Veronie; maternal grandmother, Beuala Amentor; maternal great grandfather, Murphy Amentor; aunts: Donna Potts and Tressie Arning; and uncle, Kenny Potts.

Blake is survived by his crew: dad, Olen “Keith” Potts; mom, Nina Gail Veronie; step-mom, Kara Clawson; girlfriend, Elizabeth Foerster and her children: Westen Foerster, RayLee Meyer, and Kolden Meyer; grandmother, Sylvia Veronie; grandfather, Charles Veronie; siblings: Alexandrea Potts, Ricky “Jacob” Seasock, Jared Keith LaBrot, Kaylee Renee LaBrot, Makenzie Alyssa LaBrot, and Michael Trey Earp; uncles: Kirk Veronie, Sr. and James King; aunts: Kay King, Becky King, Julie Veronie and Carla Veronie; cousins: Stephanie Burnside, her husband Cody and their children: Kayden, Kayah and Carson, Jake Findley, Tori Sylvester, Curt King, Ashley King, Kyle Veronie, Kirk Veronie, Jr., Allison DaCosta and Brent King; as well as numerous other extended family and friends.   

A visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 13, 2017 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Oak Park Chapel. The following day, Thursday, September 14, 2017, a funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Interment will follow at Oak Park Cemetery.
