Reymundo Salas

Reymundo Salas, age 45 of Alvin, passed away on March 11, 2017. He was born on August 27, 1971 in Houston to parents, Raymond and Velma (Villarreal) Salas. Reymundo spent most of his time with his family making precious memories and working. He was quite the handy man doing yard work, painting, carpentry work, welding, various construction, and even worked as a chef. He loved to help out in any way he could, as well as volunteering for church services. Reymundo was a very religious man. He prayed about everything and always asked his family to pray for him. His favorite prayers were Psalm 23 and The Lord’s Prayer. Reymundo lived one day at a time, and always said, “Tomorrow is not promised.” He loved his grandchildren very much, and always put his kids first. Reymundo was a collector of many things, including coins and antiques. He absolutely loved his jewelry and loved to shine! Reymundo was a very hygienic and clean cut person, and he liked to dress nice. He loved to cook and clean, listen to music, and enjoyed going to the beach. He had an excellent sense of humor and was very content. It was no secret, Reymundo loved life!

Reymundo was preceded in death by his parents, Raymond and Velma Salas; and brother, Anthony Salas.

He is survived by his children: Mundorey (Casper) Salas, Roman Salas, Michael Salas; brothers: Robert Salas, Christopher Salas, E. J. Ramos; sister, Cynthia Salas; and two grandchildren.

The visitation will be held on Thursday, March 16, 2017 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Oak Park Chapel. The funeral service will be held on Friday, March 17, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. at Oak Park Chapel.
