Velma Olene (Benefield Boren) Loveless

Velma Olene (Benefield Boren) Loveless, 86, of Trinity, Texas went to our Lord on Saturday, September 3, 2016.  Velma was born on October 29, 1929 to parents Harold Benefield and Gussie (Crews) Benefield McDonald in Wink, Texas. Velma attended The Assembly of God Church in Angleton, Texas. She enjoyed, gardening, cooking, and she loved sitting outside on the front porch visiting with family and friends. She was a very compassionate person.

Her favorite Scripture was John 3:16 – “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”Her favorite hymn was Amazing Grace.

Velma was preceded in death by her husband Bill Boren and Speedy Loveless; her parents; her brothers: Woodrow Crews and Thomas Benefield; and her sister, Vera Saddler.

She is survived by her children: Lester Martin Boren and wife Judy, Larry Cleveland Boren and wife Betty, and Mary Halpain; thirteen grandchildren, twenty-one great grandkids and eight great great grandkids; and many family members and friends.
