Charity Charlene Martin

Charity Charlene Martin, age 77 of Alvin passed away on September 6, 2019. She was born on March 5, 1942 in Fulton to parents James Ezell and Lona Shires (Ezell) Honeycutt. Charity married the love of her life, Charles Martin, Sr., on January 6, 1965 in Corpus Christi. Charity and her husband moved to the Alvin area in the 1960’s from Corpus Christi. She was a woman of the Baptist faith.

Charity is preceded in death by her husband, Charles Martin, Sr., parents, James Ezell and Lona Shires (Ezell) Honeycutt, brother, Neal Honeycutt, and sister, Debbie Edwards.

She is survived by her children: Lisa Thomas and husband Butch of Alvin, Sharon Kite of Alvin, Charles Martin, Jr. and wife Amanda of Danbury; grandchildren: Crystall Reed, Christina Reed, Shane Kite, Nathan Kite, Owen Martin, Sadi Martin; numerous great grandchildren; and great-great grandchildren.
