Elora Marie Laird, 24, of Manvel joined her Daddy in Heaven on March 27, 2019. Her life story began on April 22, 1994 in Houston when she was born to Timothy and Tammie (Lewis) Laird. She graduated from Manvel High School in 2012 and afterward attended Alvin Community College. Elora lived her life with a determined spirit and when she decided that she wanted to learn about or do something new she would master it. Her wonder and curiosity led her down many paths. She loved photography, art, drawing, herb gardening and animals. She had a creative mind and that could be seen in her life works. She decided one day that she would like to sew, and taught herself and it became something that she enjoyed. She also like to be outdoors and anything to do with nature. Her interests also included botany and taxidermy. She had a beautiful voice and loved to sing when no one was around.
Elora was preceded in death by her father, Timothy Laird; her grandfathers: G.L. Lewis and Reagan Jacks; and grandmother, Helen Laird.
Those surviving her include her mother Tammie Laird; grandmothers: Eugenia Jacks and Mary Lewis; sisters: Mindy Nicholas Robinson and husband Phillip, and Brielle Laird; nephews: Michael Jones and Phillip Robinson III.; aunt, Nita Garcia; uncle, Mike Laird; and numerous other family members and friends.
