Jared Paul Golden

Jared Paul Golden, age 41 of Alvin, passed away unexpectedly on November 25, 2017 in Houston. He was born on September 10, 1976 in Topeka, Kansas to loving parents, Paul David and Sandra Sue (Crable) Golden. Young Jared spent only a short time in Kansas. He and his family relocated to Alvin in 1981.

Jared was naturally artistic and had a love for cooking. He went on to culinary school where he later graduated. He liked computers, riding motorcycles, and people in general. He never met a stranger. Jared loved to take time to listen to people and give them words of encouragement. He was faithful to tell them about the Lord. Jared, a “jack of all trades”, was often found tinkering with cars. If something needed fixing, then he would find a way to put it back together.

Jared is preceded in death by his grandparents: Harry Crable, Harvey Golden, Louise Golden, Cecil Royalty; uncle, Jack Silvey; and aunt, DeCarla (Golden) Hensley.

He is survived by his parents, Paul and Sandra Golden; sisters: Alisha Golden and Jessica Golden Booth; brother, Timothy Golden; and nieces and nephews: Christian Golden, Alexi Oliveira, Alia Oliveira, Kyler Booth, Dexter Booth, Mary Jane Griego, Cable Lafeiste, and Alexus Golden.

A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, December 2, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. at Light Christian Center.
