Jesse Vargas

Jesse Vargas, 49, of Alvin passed away after a valiant battle against cancer on January 18, 2018. Jesse was born on February 27, 1968 in Alvin to parents Rafael Vargas and Linda Vargas and has lived here his entire life. Jesse was a member of the Eckankar faith. He was a Rock ‘n Roll fanatic and enjoyed both listening to music and playing his guitar. He loved socializing with his friends. He had an incredible group of friends; many that he has know his entire life. They have been by his side throughout his sickness and continue to be by the family’s side. His family was a great support to him and they loved and treasured him as he did them.

Jesse was preceded in death by his father Rafael Vargas and his sister Patricia Vargas.  He is survived by his wife Rusty Vargas of Alvin; mother Linda Vargas of Alvin; brothers: Ralph Jr., Benito and David Vargas; sister Idolinda Vargas; and numerous other family members and friends.

Visitation will be held on Monday, January 22, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. with the Funeral Service at 2:00 p.m. at Oak Park Chapel.
