Jesus Salazar Chavarria, age 85, went to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on September 17, 2019. He was born on January 1, 1934 in Jimenez, Mexico to parents, Manuel and Guadalupe Salazar Chavarria. Jesus moved from Junction, Texas to Alvin 10 months ago.

He grew up on a ranch and it became his way of life. Jesus loved being outdoors whether it was horseback riding, milking his cows, or in the garden.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Manuel and Guadalupe Salazar; his sister, Clotilde Garcia; and his brother, Miguel Salazar.

Left to cherish his memory is: his friend and mother of his children, Alicia Salazar; his children: Aracely Molina, Alma Salazar, Bertha Salazar, Jesus Salazar, Jose, Salazar, and Maribel Villafana; his brothers: Juan Salazar, Cruz Salazar, Evaristo Salazar, and Fransisco Salazar; grandchildren: Alonso Molina, Edith Cordero, Leslie Torres, Gladis Torres, Jesus Salazar, Jr., Jose Manuel Salazar, Cristina Salazar, Jose Andres Salazar, Amanda Salazar, Victor Salazar, and Tony Salazar; and great grandchildren: Angela Molina, Giselle Molina, Alonzo Molina, Jr., Aileen Molina, Emily Castańeda, Valerie Beltran, Melanie Beltran, Anthony Beltran, Mercy Torres, Alyah Salazar, and Adelina Salazar.

Services for Jesus Salazar will be held on Saturday, September 21, 2019 at Oak Park Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 11:30 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. The Funeral Service will follow at 12:30 p.m. with Father John Taosan officiating.
