Linda Lou (Martin) Talbert

Linda Lou (Martin) Talbert, age 71 of Alvin was reunited with her husband, Ralph Talbert on December 4, 2019. She was born to parents Vernon Martin and Helen “Walls” Martin on May 14, 1948 in Valley Point, West Virginia. Linda moved from Clear Lake and lived in Alvin for the past 28 years. She was a property manager for 40 years in the surrounding areas and also in Alvin.

Linda spent her free time getting lost in a good book and being out in her garden. Linda enjoyed her alone time at home but time spent with her family was important and was most treasured.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Talbert; parents, Vernon Martin and Helen Martin; brothers, Howard Walls and Jack Martin.

Those left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Christina Cobb of Alvin, TX; siblings, Evelyn Martin and Fred Martin of West Virginia; grandchildren: Laronica Marx, Trevor Cobb and Haley Cobb; great grandchildren: Branden Oehrlein, Austen Oehrlein, Morgen Marx, Matthew Cobb, Logan Cobb, Ava Cobb and one on the way; and her lifelong friend, Kathy Deitz; as well as numerous other family members and friends.
