Lisa Lynn (Rhodes) Rhodes-McLaughlin

Lisa Lynn Rhodes-McLaughlin, age 56 of Manvel, passed away on September 12, 2017 in Houston. She was born on October 6, 1960 in Houston to parents, Gary and JoAnn (McWilliams) Rhodes. Lisa was a lifetime resident of Manvel and a member of Church of the Harvest. She was an outdoors person. Fishing and going to the beach were amongst her favorite things to do. Lisa was always willing to help anyone in need. She would give you the “shirt off her back.” Lisa also loved animals. She worked at Meyerland Animal Clinic for over 33 years, and throughout those years built many friendships.

She was preceded in death by her mother, JoAnn Rhodes.

Lisa is survived by her spouse, David McLaughlin; father, Gary Rhodes; son, Justin Rhodes-McLaughlin; sisters: Kim Henley and Sharon Cain; nieces: Ashleigh and Veronica; nephew, Dylan; and “adopted son” Garrett Kreft all of Manvel; as well as her Meyerland Animal Clinic family.

A Memorial Service will be held on Monday, September 18, 2017 at 6:00 p.m. at Church of the Harvest with Pastor Stewart Martin officiating.
