Maria Guadalupe (Grimaldo) Gamez

Maria, age 71, of Alvin passed away on April 7, 2019. She was born on December 12, 1947 in Mexico to parents Julio Grimaldo and Amada (Alvarez) Grimaldo. She later moved to Houston and then to Alvin and has lived here for thirty-five years. She was of the Catholic faith.

Maria loved flowers and enjoyed spending her free time in her garden. She also had great affection for animals. Her family was important to her and she treasured family gatherings.

She is preceded in death by her husband: Justo Gamez.

Those left to cherish her memories are her children: Elva Gamez, Juan Ramirez, Maria Recendez, Yolanda Gamez, Aricelli Fonseca; grandchildren: Anastasia, Blanca, Celcilio, Sylvia, Jessica, Emily, Juan Jr., Cassandra, Homero, Aaron, Noemi, Ayliah, Robert and Angel; and numerous other family members and friends.
