Maria DeJesus (Valdez) Huizar

Maria Huizar, age 67, of Alvin passed away on May 12, 2019. She was born in Nuevo Laredo, Mexico on November 16, 1951 to parents Arnulfo Valdez and Maria DeJesus (Longoria) Veldez. She married the love of her life Eusebio Huizar on December 15, 2001.

Maria was a member of the Jehovah Witness Church. She loved to preach and witness to others wherever she went, whether it was at the mall, hospital or in the community. One of her favorite past times was to be at the mall and to go shopping. Her family was everything to her and she loved to spend quality time with them.

Maria is preceded in death by her parents, daughter: Erica Olivares; sister: Zocorro Zamora; and brother: Raul Valdez.

Those left to cherish her memories is her husband: Eusebio Huizar; children: Irasema Olivares; sisters: Irasema and Cesar Gamez, Alicia and Roberto Rodriguez, Genoveva and Armando Ayala; brothers: Arturo Valdez and Blanca, Arnulfo Valdez and Consuelo; grandchildren: Erika Rodriguez, Nabetse Rodriguez, Nelly Rodriguez, Esteban Rodriguez and Jade Rodriguez
