Martha Raygor Knighten

Martha Raygor Knighten, 73, of Houston passed away peacefully in the morning hours on August 29, 2017. Martha was born on October 18, 1943 in Connellsville, Pennsylvania to parents William H. and Virginia (Cunningham) Raygor. Martha’s family moved to Houston, Texas in 1947,  where she lived out her life. She was of the Baptist faith and looked forward to going to be with her Heavenly and earthly Fathers. Martha was a creative woman who truly enjoyed making crafts. She will also be remembered by her family and friends for the making of excellent desserts.

Martha was preceded in death by her parents William H. and Virginia Raygor and her nephew Kenneth Raygor. Surviving her are son, John Knighten and wife; daughter Cindy Black and husband Chris; brother Bill Raygor and wife Cheryl; grandson Tyler Black, and other family members and friends.
