Mary Lynn (Whittaker) Reiser

Mary Lynn Reiser, 59, of Alvin passed away unexpectedly on August 25, 2018 in Galveston. Mary was born on August 6, 1959 in Rolla, Missouri to Ronald G. and Sylvia L. (Guthrie) Whittaker). She moved from Bartlesville, Oklahoma to Alvin in 1999. Mary was an avid television watcher and would sit in front of the television and crochet as she watched it. It was during these times that she created beautiful, lovely doilies. Football was her favorite sport and she would be found with the game on during football season. J.J. Watt was her favorite player. She had a Texans t-shirt with his name and number on it that she would wear while watching them play and even to church.

Mary was preceded in death by her sister, Sheryl Whittaker Mesloh.

Those left behind are her children: James Randal Reiser and Jennifer Lynn Reiser; parents: Ronald G. Whittaker Sr. and wife Sylvia L.; brother: Ronald Whittaker Jr. and wife Darla; granddaughter: Mogan Reiser; and numerous other family members and friends.
