Mildred Corean (Elmore) Doss

Mildred Corean Doss, 77, of Lake Jackson went to be with her precious Lord on April 13, 2018. Corean was born on October 19, 1940 in Lonoke County, Arkansas to Harry and Alma (Russell) Elmore.

She married John R. Doss and they moved to Alvin in 1984 where they raised their family.

Corean enjoyed gardening, taking care of her plants, and fishing. Her greatest joy was her grandchildren and great grandchildren and the time spent with them as well as her beloved Tess and Tom.

Corean was preceded in death by her husband, John R. Doss; parents Harry and Alma Elmore: daughter Carolyn Reese; and her brother Harry Elmore.

She is survived by her daughters: longtime caretaker and provider, Kay Butler of Lake Jackson, and Kathy Ahnen of Webb City, Missouri; sister Dorothy Ellis; five grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren; her precious companions:  Tom and Tess; and numerous other family members and friends.

A Graveside Service will be held on Thursday, April 19, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. at Oak Park Cemetery located at 300 Oak Park Dr. Alvin, TX. 77511.
