Monica Louise Wheeler, 60, of Grants Pass passed away Tuesday, April 16, 2019 at Grandma’s Care Assisted Living in Grants Pass. Monica was born January 19, 1959 to Raymond and Elaine Wheeler in Detroit, Michigan. She filled her 60 years with love, laughter, and creating memories with those dearest to her. Along with her title as a truck-driver. Her life was nothing short of exciting while enjoying her favorite pastimes such as spending time with her family, friends, horses, dogs, and on the back of her Harley-Davidson. It is without a doubt that she was a remarkable woman who found herself enjoying trips to Sturgis for the Sturgis motorcycle rally and helping in any way possible at her at Better Life Television and the Grants Pass Seventh-day Adventist Church.
She was a beloved mother to Michelle Schultz and husband Robert of Alvin Texas; grandmother to Karlie, McKenna, Cassie and husband Eric, and Caden of the USMC and wife Madisson; step-grandmother to Laurie, Tyler, Courtney and Hailea; great grandmother to Eric; sister to Elaine and husband Mike, Don and wife Sue, Fred and wife Marilyn, Ken and wife Judy, and Matt and wife Ursula; as well as a Life-long partner of 40 years to Mike Dickerson. She was also an aunt, cousin, and cherished friend.
Services to be held in her honor at the Grants Pass Seventh-day Adventist Church, 1360 NE 9th St. Grants Pass, OR 97526 at 11:00 a.m., and at Froberg Funeral Home at Oak Park, 300 Oak Park Dr. Alvin, Texas 77511 at 1:00 p.m. Both services will be held on Sunday, April 28th, 2019.
