Phyllis Bernetta (Hannon) Branstetter

Phyllis Bernetta (Hannon) Branstetter took the hand of her Precious Lord and He led her home on April 7, 2018. Phyllis was born on January 20, 1930 in Winona, Minnesota to Joseph and Bernice (Kennebeck) Hannon.

She married Harold Branstetter in June of 1953. They moved to Clermont, Florida and then to Channelview and then to Manvel in 1992.

Phyllis had a zest for life. She loved adventure and the outdoors and loved to travel, hunt and camp. She also had an incredible talent of quilting. Her family has many treasures that she created. They will forever be covered in her warmth and love.

Phyllis was preceded in death by her husband Harold Branstetter, parents Joseph and Bernice Hannon, child Terry Wayne Branstetter and her brother Alvin Hannon.

Left to treasure many wonderful memories are her children: Jacqueline Newport, Jeffrey Branstetter, Andrea Gindele; granddaughter Pamela Branstetter; and numerous other family members and friends.

A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, April 20, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at Oak Park Funeral Home with Pastor Judi Wilds officiating.
