Raquel (Flores) Fernandez

Raquel Fernandez, age 48 of Pearland passed away on July 10, 2019. She was born in Alvin, Texas on January 26, 1971 to parents Jesus Flores and Eloisa (Bustamante) Flores. She loved to read, cook, and spending time with family and friends.  Raquel had a huge heart and touched so many lives. She was a proud and dignified woman who had a passion for life. She had a wonderful sense of humor which endeared her to everyone who she came into contact with and it is a great testament to her nature that she formed so many long lasting friendships over the years.

Those left to cherish her memory is her husband, Lucio Fernandez; parents, Jesus and Eloisa Flores; sons, Matthew Fernandez and Juan Fernandez; sister, Rita Torres and husband Ismael; brothers: Narziso Bustamante, Jesus Flores Jr. and wife Deborah Flores; stepchildren: Anita Pedraza and husband Sergio, Felicia Soza and husband Victor, Stacy Fernandez, Lucio Fernandez II and wife Chelsea, and Sarah Fernandez; grandchildren: Adriana Aguilar-Ileen, Carmen Salas, Sophia Pedraza, Sabrina Pedraza, Sierra Pedraza, Samantha Pedraza, Jazalyne Soza, Emily Soza, Victor Soza Jr., Margarito Fernandez, Kayla Camacho, Jeremiah Camacho, Jacob Camacho, Lucio Fernandez III, Quwa Fernandez, and Cerynity Fernandez; as well as numerous other family members and friends.

A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, July 19, 2019 at 6:00 p.m. at Oak Park Chapel with Minister Arthur Ortiz officiating.
