Raymond Cody Puckett, 64, of Alvin passed away on January 16, 2019 in Webster. Cody began his life journey on June 10, 1954, born to parents, Robert and Sarah (Coburn) Puckett. He has lived his life in different parts of Texas and settled in Alvin. He was a graduate of Alvin High School. He married Mary Dye in 1996 in Alvin. Cody enjoyed spending time outdoors and loved to ride horses and motorcycles, shoot guns, hunt and fish. His indoor pastimes were cooking and painting. He was always thrilled to find a new recipe and share it with others. His paintings were also shared with those he loved, and they will be forever treasured. Cody also had a beautiful connection with animals and he had many beloved pets throughout his lifetime.
Cody was preceded in death by his father, Robert Puckett; step-father EJ Copley; mother, Sarah Copley; son, Jason Marshall; Aunt Eula Vickers; and uncles, Pete Coburn and Albert Coburn.
Left to remember him is: his wife, Mary Puckett of Alvin; daughter, Shelly Blair and husband Joey of Pearland; stepdaughter, Elizabeth Ford and husband Steven of Lake Jackson; sister, Renee Copley; stepbrothers: Timmy, Jimmy and Mike Copley; Aunt Eloise “Weesie” Jubojasky; many cousins; grandchildren: Ethan, Logan and Owen Blair; Brittany, Julie and Dustin Ford; and numerous other family members and friends.
A Time of Remembrance will be held on Saturday, January 19, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. at Oak Park Chapel.
