Ricardo Bautista

Ricardo Bautista, 56, of Texas City passed away unexpectedly on October 8, 2018. Ricardo was born on July 7, 1962 in Galveston to Jose T. and Isabel (Puentes) Bautista.

He grew up in Alvin and  worked in the Road Department for the City of Alvin for over twenty years. Ricardo married Maria Elena Gallardo on November 29, 2006 in Galveston and they made their home in Texas City. Family was very important to him and he especially treasured the time spent with his kids.

Ricardo is preceded in death by his parents Jose and Isabel Bautista and his nephew Margarito Bautista, Jr. Those surviving him include his wife Maria Elena Bautista; children: Dulce Gallardo, Samantha Bautista, and Ricardo Bautista, Jr.; brothers: Carlos Bautista and wife Connie , Margarito Bautsita, Sr. and wife Lydia, Ruben Bautista, Martin Bautista,  and Agustine Bautista; sisters: Carmen Hernandez and husband Isaac, and Consuela Reyna; and numerous nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.

A time of visitation will be on Monday, October 15, 2018 at 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Oak Park Chapel. The funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 16, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at Oak Park Chapel. Interment will follow at Oak Park Cemetery.
