Robert Lee Buelow, age 72, of Alvin went to be with the Lord on August 31, 2019. Bob’s life journey began on September 29, 1946 in Rogers, Arkansas when he was born to parents Everett Christian and Hazel Ruth (Koster) Buelow. They moved to Alvin and made this place their home.
He married the love of his life, Brenda Faye (Hobbs) Buelow on August 4, 1967 at the Alvin Gleaner Church. Shortly after they were married he was drafted in to the United States Army. He spent eighteen months in Vietnam. He was very proud of his country and was honored to serve.
They lived the majority of their married life in Alvin and became a treasured part of their church home, Heights Baptist Church. He was ordained as a Deacon in 1989. Robert was a man of God and loved to teach the Men’s Bible Study at his church.
When he was younger he enjoyed to spending time bass fishing. He also had a passion for classic and sport cars.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Everett and Hazel Buelow.
Those left to cherish his memory are his loving wife of 52 years, Brenda Buelow, children: Kendra Kitko and husband Mark, Clay Buelow and wife Deanna; sister, Rebecca Buelow; sister in-law, Linda Vest and husband Eddie; brother, John Buelow and wife Shirley; brother in-law, Clinton R. Hobbs and wife Helen; grandchildren: Ellory Addison Kitko, Olivia Grace Buelow and Robert Grant Buelow; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
