Roy Galvan

Roy Galvan, 55, of Alvin passed away on April 5, 2017. He was born on May 4, 1961 in Houston, Texas to parents, Daniel Cruz and Maria (Limon) Galvan. He was a member at Faith Family Fellowship. Roy got along with anyone he came in contact with. He was a hugger and had a big heart! After you received one of his big hugs you would always hear him say “You may go!” He also loved listening to classic rock on FM107.5. Roy married the love of his life, Jessica Soliz, on December 11, 2010 in Alvin.

Roy is survived by his wife Jessica Galvan, children: Amber Barajas, DeeAnna Barajas and Gina Barajas; grandchildren: Taylor, Madison, Danae, Nathaniel, Quentin, Ariana, Jonathan, Joshua and Josiah; parents in law; sisters, nieces, nephews, other family members, friends, and man’s best friend Rudy.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, April 13, 2017 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Oak Park Chapel. Funeral Service will be held on Friday, April 14, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. at Faith Family Fellowship Church with Pastor Randy Wilkerson officiating. Interment will follow in procession to Confederate Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to the Faith Family Fellowship Food Pantry, 1031 W. Sealy, Alvin, Texas  77511.
