Scott Murphy Hazzard

Scott Murphy Hazzard, 48, of Alvin passed away unexpectedly on April 24, 2018. Scott was born on August 31, 1969 in San Antonio. He graduated from New Caney High School. After graduation he proudly served his country in the United States Marines for 8 years. He moved from California back to Alvin in 2014.

Scott loved his children, the open road and the open water. He stood by his country and his family proudly with a smile. His love of sports naturally led to his consistent support and involvement in the activities and sports of his children as both coach and fan.

Scott is preceded by his daughter Alexandria. Scott is survived by his father and stepmother Clay and Pam Hazzard; stepmother, Claudia Gomez; children David Hazzard and Faith Hazzard; sister, Kelly Worley; and numerous other family members and friends.

A Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, May 2, 2018 at 11:00 a.m.at Oak Park Funeral Home with Pastor Lee Peoples officiating.
