This is A sad day. I knew Buddy and his family very well back in the mid and late 1950's. We lived in Denver Harbor "Podunk" which is a part of Houston. I always planned to see him again but I waited too long. I still remember going to see him at the San Jacinto Hospital where he was being treated for a bad burn on his leg. I was with his brother Leland and we ran into Gloria and her friend Caroline Fannin, at least I think that was her name, who were in the hospital being treated for injuries received in an auto accident. We told Buddy he should go down the hall and visit them and he did. The rest is history. Not many relationships last like their's did. I know Gloria will miss him. I wish her the best.
