Winston "Ronnie" Ronald Holland

Ronnie Holland, age 67, of Alvin was given his angel wings on Wednesday, June 14, 2017. He came into this world on December 1, 1949 in New York, New York to parents, Lewis Elbert and Josephine (Nahas) Holland. Ronnie moved to the great state of Texas in 1978, where he met the love of his life, Sharon Kay Gilmore. They were later married on Febuary 4, 1983 in Clear Lake City, Texas. Together they made Alvin their home in 1994. He was of the Catholic faith and a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church.

Ronnie enjoyed walking and riding his bike. He loved music, playing guitar and making up silly songs about his wife, kids and grandkids. He was a big gun collector and enjoyed going to the gun range whenever he had the chance. He was an active Pokemon Go player. He played every day and he was one of the best. He enjoyed researching and learning new things about guns, Pokemon and just about anything else that he loved. He was a friend to everyone he met and an inspiration to many. He was an amazing husband, father and grandfather and he will be greatly missed.

Ronnie was preceded in death by his father, Lewis Elbert Holland and by his mother, Josephine (Nahas) Holland.

He is survived by his wife, Sharon Kay Holland; children: Patricia Lopez and husband Paul, Angela Warden and husband Chance, Russ Holland, Ryan Holland and wife Rachel; brother, Lewis Holland; grandchildren: Noah Lopez, Tristen Burkett, Haley Burkett, Alyna Burkett, Tank Warden, Blake Holland, Faith Holland, Jacob Holland, Carissa Holland and Luke Holland; as well as many other family members and friends.
