Alfonso “Panson” Garcia Jr., 39, passed away Monday, May 15, 2023, in Alvin surrounded by his family. He was born March 22, 1984, in Dallas, Texas to Alonso Garcia Sr. and Maria (Ybarra).
His battle with serious medical issues in recent years showed his courage in facing life challenges with a smile.
Panson was all about life, he enjoyed a good party, he loved to make you laugh and think about things in life. He was a smart young man; he was there for you always. He was a avid fisherman.
He loved his family, he is survived by his wife Carissa; daughter Marissa; his parents Raul and Maria Cervantes; brothers Pancho Ybarra and his wife Nica, Nickos Ybarra and his wife Amber; sisters Abby and Lizzy and his nieces and nephews; and aunts and uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his grandmother Jesusita Ybarra, grandfather Faustino Ybarra Sr. and his uncle Joe M. Esquivel and aunt Angie Esquivel.
