Betty Lee (Rogers) Brewer went to be with her Lord on May 1, 2019. Her family was blessed to be by her side at that moment. Betty was born on November 3, 1947 in Dallas to Cleo and Francis (Peterson) Rogers. She lived for most of her childhood in Waco until the family moved to Alvin in 1963 and she graduated from Alvin High School. She married John Brewer in 1969 and they raised their family here. Betty became a registered nurse and worked for UTMB. Her retirement date was to be in September of this year. Betty loved sewing and shopping (especially shopping). She loved the Victorian and Renaissance Eras. Going to the Renaissance Festival and Dickens on the Strand were a must each year – as was dressing up for the occasion.
Betty was preceded in death by her husband John Brewer on May 17, 2004, her parents Cleo and Frances Rogers, and her daughter Kristina Lynn Brewer in 1975.
Those left to treasure her memory are her children: Beth Brewer and Travis Branton of Manvel, Tammie Brewer and Tony Vaughn of Spring; sisters: Billie and James Norman of Sugar Land, Jean Lemm of Alvin; grandchildren: Krystyna, Sydney and Aaron, Johnathan and Maddie, Cody; and numerous other family members and friends.
