Brad McCallay

Brad McCallay, 57, of Alvin left this earth for his heavenly home before we were ready to see him go. Brad started his life journey on June 16, 1963 when he was born as Mark Bradley McCallay to parents Floyd and Phyllis (Curry) McCallay.  

Brad is known throughout the community for many things, but most prominent would be Jacob’s Farm and Education Center, a cause dear to his heart. He called Alvin home, for more than 50 years, and was proud of his home town. Brad was a former youth group leader at Alvin Missionary Baptist Church, which he led for many years. Brad was a loved father and grandfather and supported his children and grandchildren’s passions. 

Brad was preceded in death by his Mother, Phyllis (Curry) McCallay

Left to treasure his memory include his son Jacob McCallay, his son Joseph McCallay and wife Whitney, his daughter Patty Adams and husband Terry Adams Jr;  his grandsons: Joshua and Christopher Adams;  his father Floyd McCallay;  his sister Mindy Pearson;  his brothers:  Mike and Greg McCallay, and their families; and numerous other family members and friends.  

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, November 14, 2020 at 1:00 p.m. at Alvin Missionary Baptist Church. In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to Jacob’s Farm and Education Center.
