Clyde Mae (Smith) Leonard made her journey home on April 2, 2018.Tiny, as she was known, was born April 4, 1919 to James Earnest "Dock" Smith and Beulah Lenore Ragland Smith in Sumrall, Mississippi. She married Roscoe Lavester Leonard. They moved to Alvin and made their home here. Tiny loved her Lord and devoted herself to Him and to her church. She volunteered for the “Okay” Program for many years. She was a treasure to all that knew her.
She was preceded in death by her parents, James Earnest "Dock" Smith and Beulah Lenore Ragland Smith; her husband, Roscoe Lavester Leonard; as well as her siblings: Gerald Durwood "Bully" Smith, Frank Wayne Smith, Claude Mae "Bigun" Smith Hanberry and Delpha Jean Smith Hockin. She is survived by her brother James Smith of Alvin and numerous nieces, nephews, family members and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, April 6, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. with the Funeral Service following at 3:00 p.m. at Oak Park Chapel with Pastor Johnny Angel officiating. She will be laid to rest next to her husband at Military Baptist Church Cemetery in Sumrall, Mississippi.
