Obituary
Darrell Wayne Brady, 82, of Alvin, Texas, passed away peacefully on Monday, August 14th, 2023.
Darrell Was born on July 15th, 1941 to Gerald Bernard and Frances Marion Brady in Victoria, Texas. After Darrell graduated from Mission High School in 1959, where he was a star on the varsity football team, and after High School he joined the US Army.
In 1967 he and his wife JoAnne Renfro moved to Alvin, TX where he went to work for Monsanto. They had two children Craig Brady (son) and Julie Brady Adame (daughter).
He married Kathy June Kettler in February 1983 whom he remained married to until his death.
After a 32 year career with Monsanto he retired in 1999. After retirement both Darrell and Kathy enjoyed travelling, being outdoors hunting and fishing, and volunteering numerous hours and love at the Alvin Senior Center. He also loved spoiling his granddaughter Megan Nicole Brady who was the true joy in his life.
Darrell was predeceased by his father Gerald Bernard Brady and mother Frances Marion Brady. He is survived by his wife Kathy Brady, son Craig Brady and wife Cassie, daughter Julie Adame and husband David, granddaughter Megan Nicole, and sister Gail Keene.
