Eloise Grace (Ortiz) Cruzen entered this world on February 15, 1965 and she went home to her Father in Heaven on March 28, 2021. To meet her there, with a warm embrace was her mother Eloisa Ortiz.
Grace was born in Galveston, Texas to Jaure and Eloise Ortiz and was a lifelong resident of Alvin, Texas. Grace was married to her beloved husband for 30 years, where they made their home in Alvin and raised their sons.
Grace graduated from Alvin High School and a member of the Class of 1984. Grace held an Associates of Science in Accounting. Grace was employed with the City of Alvin for 37 years and most recently with the City Secretary, as a Deputy City Clerk.
Those left to treasure and abundance of memories include her husband John Cruzen of Alvin; father, Jaure Ortiz of Alvin; sons: Jonathan Cruzen, Aaron Cruzen; sisters: Patricia Ortiz of Waco and Kathryn Ortiz of Alvin; nieces and nephews: Edwina (Ortiz) Soto, Erica Montalvo, Joel Montalvo, Joshua Soto, Jocelyn Soto, Kaleb Soto, Antonyo Liguez, Scarlett Liguez, Arianna Montalvo, Addie Montalvo, and Nathaniel Montalvo; and numerous other family members and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, April 2, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at Oak Park Chapel.
Funeral Service will be held on Friday, April 2, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. at Oak Park Chapel.
Honorary pallbearers are: John Cruzen, Jonathan Cruzen, Aaron Cruzen, Joshua Soto, Kaleb Soto, and Antonyo Liguez
In life we receive many treasures, and one of those was Grace. She blessed us with her loving kindness and we will forever see her smile and hear her laughter in our minds.
