Felix Montalvo, Jr.

Felix Montalvo, Jr., 39, of Rosharon passed away unexpectedly on July 21, 2018. Felix was born on March 25, 1979 in Rosenberg to Felix Montalvo, Sr. and Eodina (Solis) Montalvo.  He was a lifetime resident of Rosharon and has many family ties as well as great friendships in the area. He worked as a landscaper and was proud of the work that he did.  He was an outgoing person who never met a stranger, loved to make people smile and was known to be a jokester.  He was also someone that you could go to with any problem. Everyone knew though, that he would always tell you exactly how he felt; but he would listen and point you in the right direction. He was a “bulldog” when it came to his family and friends, always ready to defend those he loved. His family and friends will miss those phone calls when he would check to just make sure you were okay.  

Felix was preceded in death by his grandparents: Tereso Montalvo, Esmerijildo Solis and Maria Solis; and mother in law, Nasaria Rodriguez.

Those surviving him include his wife Dody Rodriguez; parents: Felix Montalvo Sr. and Eodina Montalvo; children: Jacob Joel, Julianna Joely, and Jazlyn Joelin Montalvo; brothers and sisters: Laura Ann, Sandra, Ricardo, Sally, Nancy, Elisa, Juana Maria, Eodina, Juan Carlos, Daniel, Sofia, and Luis Aldrian Montalvo; and numerous other family members and friends.

Visitation will be held on Monday, July 30, 2018 at 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Iglesia Cristiana Fe En Accion. The Funeral Service will be on Tuesday, July 31, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. at Iglesia Cristiana Fe En Accion with Pastor Erasmo Callazo officiating. Interment will follow at Oak Park Cemetery.
