George Jimenez

George Jimenez, age 65 of Alvin passed away on August 5, 2020. He was born in Wharton, Texas to parents Francisco Jimenez and Rafaela (Martinez) Jimenez on February 22, 1955. He was a lifelong resident of Alvin.

George worked as a trucker for many years. He was one of the most thoughtful men we have ever known. He was very outgoing and generous person. George had an amazing sense of humor, it was hard to take him serious. He had a nickname for everyone. He touched the hearts of so many people throughout his life. He was very loving, but most of all he loved his family beyond measure.

He was preceded in death by his father, Francisco Jimenez and brother, Frank Jimenez.

Those left to cherish his memory are his children: Amy Christine Le Blanc, Tanya Lynn Adkins, George Jimenez, Jr., Angela Jimenez; mother, Rafaela Jimenez; sister, Mary Frances Ortiz; grandchildren: Bria, Buddy, Ellie, Keoni, Olivia, Gentry, Thor, Chelsey, Lance, Elysia, Justus, Jase, George Cordero, Alyssa, Ava, Azura, Greyson, Jaecob, Desiree, Aydrien, Blaize, Amiah, Devin; great grandchildren: Scott, Sawyer, Jude, Jonah, Zailee, Robert, Genevieve, Nylah, Adonis; as well as numerous family members and friends.

A visitation will be held on Monday, August 10, 2020 at 1:00 p.m. at Oak Park Funeral Home with a funeral service to follow at 2:00 p.m. Interment will follow at Oak Park Cemetery.
