Glenn Roye Obituary
Glenn Allen Roye, 67, of Alvin passed away on February 18, 2024. He was born in Texas City on October 8, 1956, to Kathryn (Knolle) and Harold Roye. As a youth he attended the Alvin Methodist Church, and as a young adult, he spent some years in Dallas, where he made many friends and memories, perfecting his skills in the hospitality industry and enjoying his lifelong passion for music.
Moving back to this area he opened two restaurants, spent some time working and traveling in the pipeline industry, before returning to his passion in hospitality work.
He selflessly cared for his ailing mother and being the oldest of his siblings, he always felt great responsibility and devotion for all his family.
He never lost his great love and passion for music and guitars, friends and family.
A true gentleman always Glenn, you are already so missed. We love you, keep the music playing for all of us RIP.
He was currently employed with O’Reilly auto parts here in Alvin.
Glenn is survived by his father, Harold Roye and his wife Ronda Dunn, sister Kayla Tragesser, his nephews Jeremy Smith and his wife Krissa Sowa, Joseph R. McGinn, Eric Knight, aunts, uncles and cousins.
