Hermina May (Schueneman) Dolney, 83, of Alvin went to be with her Lord on September 10, 2020. Hermina began her life journey on December 14, 1936 in Alvin, Texas when she was born to Herman Walter and Hazel Lorena (Surface) Schueneman. She met and married the love of her life, Charles Patrick Dolney. The wedding took place on February 24, 1958 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Alvin. They began their family in Houston and then moved to Alvin in 1973.
Hermina’s main focus has always been her family. She loved her children and her grandchildren and her greatgrandchildren and took care of them with compassion.
Hermina was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Patrick Dolney; parents Herman and Hazel Lorena Schueneman; brothers: William, Robert, and Glen Schueneman; sons in law: Delbert Clark and Edward Blysard; in-laws: Alexander and Katharina Dolney, Alex and Barbara Dolney, Thelma Nichols, John and Phyllis Dolney.
The many of us left behind to treasure a multitude of memories are: her daughters: Kathaleen Clark, Rene Dorris and husband Howard (Butch), Aimee Blysard, and Brenda Broussard and husband Paul; Siblings: Bertha Adams, Katherine Ramsey, Herman Walter (Butch) Schueneman, Jr.; grandchildren: Delbert Clark and wife Amber, Jennifer Brooks and husband Allen, Aric Clark and wife Shealeen, Anthony Clark and wife Nicole, Shaun Dorris and wife Andrea, Kristy Towner and husband Brian, Dona Blysard, Elizabeth Blysard, Morgan Vela and husband Alvaro, Nicole Hazlip and husband Josh, Blake Broussard and Taylor Broussard; great grandchildren: Ami, Gage, Cadence, Evelyn, Jillyin, Devin, George, Abilene, Aurora, Elliott, Summer, Autumn, Skylar, and Penelope; many nieces, nephews, and spouses of her grandchildren that she loved dearly.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 15, 2020 at 10:00 a.m. with the Funeral Service beginning at 11:00 a.m. at Oak Park Funeral Home with Deacon Dale Hayden officiating. The Committal Service will be held at 3:00 p.m. at Forest Park Lawndale.
