Jack Ray Mitchell, 76, of Alvin passed away surrounded by his family in Webster, Texas, on August 19, 2023. He was born in Le Compte, Louisiana, to Rosalee (Hare) and Joseph Mitchell.
Jack is survived by his wife Diana Mitchell; son Ray Mitchell and his wife Robyn, daughter Jennifer Morrison and her husband Jeffrey; brother Frank Mitchell; grandchildren Morgan and her husband Luis, Colby, Danica and Shelby; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents Rosalee and Joseph Mitchell, brother Joseph A. Mitchell Jr. and a sister Mary McMurry.
