James Malloy, age 84, of Liverpool, Texas, passed away on December 2, 2020. He was born on December 1, 1936 in Flint, Michigan to parents William E. Malloy and Ester Barnhart. He moved here from Florida and has been a resident of Liverpool since 1968. James was a member of the Grace Community Baptist church in Liverpool for quite some years. Some of his hobbies included fishing on the water and watching some of the old western movies. He really enjoyed sports especially football and baseball, his favorite team was the Houston Astros. Another favorite was playing the Texas Lottery and his Sudoku puzzles. He loved spending time with his grandchildren and great grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his parents; William Malloy and Ester (Lawrence) Barnhart, brother; Ronald Lawrence, wife; Shirley Virginia Malloy, children; Robin Stokes and Joseph Malloy, grandson; Welsey Davis.
Those left to cherish his memory are his children; Victoria Neihart of Liverpool, Texas and Charlene Malloy of Liverpool, Texas, sisters; Linda Stewart, Patricia J. Unkle , Jeanine Lawrence, brother; Jerry Lawrence, grandchildren; Gerida Kennedy and husband Brice, Tracy Styron and husband Rod, Amanda, spouse Ashley, Ryan Cook and wife Kassey, Joshua Neihart and Courtney, great grandchildren; Cody Kennedy, Cason Styron, Joseph Malloy Jr., Jacob Malloy, Riley Cook and Kimber Cook; as well as numerous other family members and friends.

Services will be held on Thursday, December 10, 2020 at Oak Park Chapel. The Visitation will begin at 1:00 p.m. with the Funeral Service to follow at 2:00 p.m. Interment will follow at Oak Park Cemetery.
