John Ady Obituary
John was born in Washington, D.C. on June 3, 1938. From the age of 8 years old until 18 he grew up in Japan, graduated from high school and then enrolled at the University of Florida. Where he received his degree in Mathematics. After college from 1963-1967 John served in the United States Navy.
After leaving the Navy John spent the next 17 years working for Armco Steel as a Department Manager until the company closed. He then spent 27 years working for Auto Zone until his retirement.
In John’s spare time he enjoyed traveling, boating, and cruising with his wife Betty.
John is survived by his loving wife, Betty, two sons, Gary Ady. Greg Ady spouse Cheri Ady, three stepdaughters, Cathleen Leteff, spouse Joe Leteff, Essie Rogers, spouse Glen Rogers and Tammy Locke, spouse Brent Locke, three granddaughters, Heather Stavely, spouse Clyde Stavely, Cassie Ady, and Rachel Ady, two great granddaughters, Summer Stavely and Allison Stavely, and one grandson, Joey Leteff.
John is preceded in death by his mother Georganna Covington Ady, Father Lawrence Ady and brother, Lawrence Ady, Jr.
