John Logan Clarke, age 69 of Alvin passed away on April 20, 2020. He was born on September 6, 1950 in Atlanta, Georgia to parents, Thomas Moore Clarke and Laura Smith. John married Richard Griffith on August 27, 2016 in Manvel, Texas.
John loved to spend his down time reading, and being out in the sun in his swimming pool.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas and Laura Clarke; late wife, Sarah Ornan Clarke; sisters, Laura and Mary; and brothers, William and Walton.
Those left to cherish his memory are his husband, Richard Griffith; children, Amber Louise Rampy and husband Zip of Smyrna, Georgia, Elizabeth Ann Howell and husband Danny of Mayretta, Georgia; brother, Ted Clarke and wife Robin of Savannah, Georgia; grandchildren, Sarah Kate Howell and Evan Holt Howell; as well as numerous other family members and friends.
