John M. Ramirez Sr., 81, of Crosby passed away on October 9, 2023 in Houston surrounded by his family. He was born in Galveston on May 29, 1942 to Tomasa (Melchor) and Juan Ramirez.

John is survived by his wife Loretta Ramirez, his six children Ramona Youngblood, Kellie Cordes (Shawn), Leonard Felps, Linda Helmcamp (Jeff), Denise Furgason and John Ramirez Jr.: brother Joe Ramirez and sister Yoland Cuello; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents Tomasa (Melchor) and Juan Ramirez, siblings Rita Mendoza, Roy Ramirez and Eddie Ramires.
