Luis Caballero, Jr.

Luis Caballero, Jr., 73, of Alvin passed away on December 25, 2018 with his family by his side. Luis was born on October 5, 1945 in Laredo to parents, Luis Caballero, Sr. and Maria Luz Ayala Caballero. He married Dionicia Dino in 1979 in Victoria. They lived in Houston until they moved to Alvin in 1989. Luis was of the Catholic faith. He enjoyed watching sports on television, especially: golf, baseball and football. He was a great fan of the Dallas Cowboys. He also liked to watch old westerns and his shows on Me TV.  Family was very important to him, as well as getting together on the holidays. Christmas, and its importance, was truly treasured by him.

Luis was preceded in death by: his mother, Maria Ayala; his brothers, Juan and Clemente Caballero; and his sisters, Soccorro and Margarita.

Left to treasure many precious memories are: his wife, Dionicia Caballero; children: Alex, Jaime and wife Melissa, and Gloria; sisters: Elena, Yolanda and Amelia; grandchildren: Alex J., Kiana, Kyara, Javier and Jalissa; and numerous other family members and friends.
