Lydia Saracho Rios, 77, passed away on Tuesday February 14, 2023, in Friendswood, Texas surround by her family. She was born on October 16, 1945, in Olmito, Texas to Pablo J. and Francisca (Saracho) Villarreal. Lydia married Eleazar R. Rios, on December 23, 2004, in Brownsville, Texas.
Lydia graduated from college with a B.S. degree in Education and was employed with B.I.S.D. and the Alvin I.S.D.
She is survived by her husband Eleazar R. Rios; six children Margarito S. Gonzalez of Hurst, Maria Juanita Gonzalez, of League City, Juan Jose Gonzalez, of Brownville, Alberto M. Gonzalez, of Brownville, Dalia Wo, of Virginia Beach, Octavio Gonzalez, of Friendswood and Ana Aguilar, of League City; thirteen grandchildren Clairiece, Eliseo, Michael, Lee Gonzalez, Elisha, Orion Mason, Matthew, Abriana Gonzalez, Nicolas, Nolan, Anthony Basset, Rosa Lydia Wo and Isabella Maria Gonzalez, two great-grandchildren Eden Mason and Ellaria Carlene Ortiz; She is preceded in death by her parents Pablo J. and Francisca S. Villarreal.
