Maria Ramirez Obituary
Maria Raquel Ramirez was born on January 22, 1936 in Doctor Coss Nuevo Leon, Mexico, to parents Jose Trevino and Facunda Salinas. Maria Raquel went to rest in the arms of her Savior on Monday February 22, 2021 at the age of 85.
Maria Raquel was a devoted and loving mother. She was very proud of her family and enjoyed family gatherings. She also enjoyed crocheting, quilting, cooking and making her famous tamales, sugar cookies and empanadas.
Maria was the beloved wife to the late Luis Angel Ramirez. Maria Raquel was a devoted mother to her seven children; Luis Angel Ramirez, Roberto Ramirez, Maricela Calderon, Norma Linda Aguilar, Ana Bella Flores, Belinda Zamora, and Dora Luz Ramirez. She was a loving grandmother and great grandmother to twenty three grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren.
Loved ones will gather at Oak Park Funeral Home at 300 Oak Park Dr. Alvin, Texas 77511 on Friday March 5, 2021 from 6:00pm to 8:00pm for visitation. The funeral service will be held Saturday March 6, 2021 at 10:00am at Oak Park Chapel with interment to follow at Oak Park Cemetery.
