Maria Salazar Obituary

Maria Magdalena Salazar, 79, of Alvin passed away on Monday, January 17, 2022 surrounded by her family.

Maria, was born in Brownsville, Texas on July 22, 1942 to Teresa (De La Cruz) and Enrique Gonzalez.

She is survived by her children, Janie Salazar, Irma Salazar, Maria C. Salazar and Felix Salazar; twenty-three grandchildren and sixteen great-grandchildren; brother Juan Manuel Gonzalez and numerous nieces, nephews and other several family members.

Mrs. Salazar was preceded in death by her husband Refugio E. Salazar; parents Enrique and Teresa Gonzalez; sister Guadalupe (Genaro) Ocanas; brothers Arturo Gonzales, Pablo Gonzalez (Beatrice); grandson Douglas Ray Jr., and Dylan; granddaughter Linda and great-granddaughter Luna.
