Mario Coronado

Mario Coronado, age 57, of Alvin, Texas passed away and went to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ peacefully and surrounded by family on January 7, 2021. Mario was born on September 11, 1963 to parents Margarita and Bernardo Coronado. Mario moved from the West Texas area with his family and was a resident of Alvin for more than 50 years. Some of Mario’s favorite hobbies included cooking a good meal and being in the yard gardening. Mario also enjoyed fishing and strumming the strings of his guitar. Mario had a wonderful sense of humor without even trying.   

Mario is preceded in death by his father, Bernardo Coronado and brother, Joe Coronado. 
Left to cherish Mario’s memory is his mother Margarita Coronado; brothers: Juan Coronado, Robert Coronado and wife Velma, Ricardo Coronado, Desi Coronado and wife Stephanie, Roy Coronado and wife Liz, Martin Coronado and Jesse Coronado; sisters: Carmen Blackwell and husband Bob, Rosa Linda Hamidian and husband Kazem, Estella Ramirez and husband Roberto.  Mario will fondly be remembered by numerous nieces, nephews, and friends. 

Memorial donations in Mario’s name may be made to M. D. Anderson in Houston, TX or to the Iglesia Fuente de Agua Viva Church c/o Margarita Coronado, 2084 County Road 235,Alvin, TX  77511.

Visitation will be held on January 14, 2021 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Oak Park Chapel.
