Mary (Garcia) Moreno

Mary Moreno, 83, of Alvin passed away on Tuesday, May 9, 2023, in Webster surrounded by her family. Mary was born in El Campo, Texas to Anselmo Garcia and Dolores (Soliz).

She is survived by her three children Mary Ann Moreno, Gloria Moreno and Alfredo Moreno, Jr.: grandchildren Alfredo Moreno III, Michael Moreno both of Alvin, Bobby Moreno and his wife Celia, of Pasadena, Heather Moreno, Ashley Moreno, of Michigan, and numerous great-grandchildren; sisters Guadalupe Nieto, Alice Gutierrez, Marsha Chavez, all of Alvin, Florencia Rosa and her husband Oscar de la Rosa of Palestine, Juana Rosa of Houston, Fortunata Ortiz, of El Campo, Amelia Amador, both of Houston, Maria G. Perez, Rosadria Ratcliff, Yolanda Manzano and Juanita Rodriguez, all of El Campo; brothers Manuel Garcia and his wife Mary Jane, of Sweeny, Anselmo Garcia Jr., of Houston, Juan Guerrero, of El Campo, Benito Nieto, Thomas Ortiz, both of Alvin; numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband Alfredo Moreno Sr; parents Anselmo Garcia and Dolores (Soliz); siblings Rebecca Martinez, Pauline G. Trevino, Alejandra Garcia, Joe Garcia and Robert Guerrero.

The pallbearers will be David Valdez, Bo Walton, Roy Walton, Alfredo Moreno III, Michael Moreno and Bobby Moreno.
