Mary Jo (Norman) Vines, age 88, of Alvin passed away on December 3, 2020 in Houston. She was born on September 17, 1932 in Selma, Alabama to parents, Lerman Lawrence and Mary Lou (Thompkins) Norman.
Mary Jo loved to cook, travel, and spend time with her family. She loved Gospel music and loved to play dominoes.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Vines; Son, Michael Rayborn; Daughter, Sheila Vines.
Left to cherish her memory are her children: Shirley Hardie (Byron), Randy Vines (Julie), Nancy Higgins (Keith), Mark Vines (Evelyn), Mary Vines Simpson (Jon), Libby Vines White (Craig);
grandchildren: Steven Rayborn, Andy Rayborn, Keith Higgins, Raymond Vines, James Vines, Amanda Griffin, Aaron Simpson, Alex Simpson, Olivia Simpson, Kelsey White, Kylie White, Angela Rayborn, Nick Hardie, Angel Hardie, Robert Hardie, and Adrian Hardie;
great grandchildren: Zoe Rayborn, Lennon Rayborn, Evie Rayborn, Seeley Rayborn, Finley Rayborn, Houston Rayborn, Savannah Rayborn, Garrett Higgins, Destiny Vines, Drake Vines, Samantha Vines, Anthony Vines, Dylan Vines, Carson Nalley, Parker Griffin, and Case Simpson; and a host of special nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.
