Molly Ann Hunter, age 73, of Alvin passed away on December 27, 2020. She was
born on January 11, 1947, in Athens, Alabama to parents William Jesse Couch and
Edna Erle (Dugger) Crutchfield. She moved to Texas in her early 20s. When she
was younger, she was a home healthcare worker who loved working with the
elderly.
Ann, as she was known to her family and friends, enjoyed the musical stylings of
Elvis, her collection of the Fast and the Furious movies, old westerns starring John
Wayne, Christmas movies, and anything featuring Will Smith. Ann was witty, full
of laughs, and always looking for the funny side of life. Her big heart full of faith
and her love for the dance floor will be missed by all who had the pleasure of
knowing her.
Ann was preceded in death by her parents, William Jesse Couch and Edna Erle
(Dugger) Crutchfield; and her daughter, Crystal Hunter.
Left to cherish her memory is her daughter Melonie King of Oxford, Mississippi;
sisters: Carol Lovel and husband Butch of Alvin, Teresa Reynolds of Sante Fe,
Darlene Hale and husband Chuck of Richmond; brother Steve Couch and wife
Janice of Cut and Shoot; step-sister Janet Sudhop and husband Mitch of Spring;
step-brother Kenneth Crutchfield of Pasadena; and grandchildren: Alexis
Crutchfield, Brittany Hunter, Kyle Samford, and Kaylah King; as well as numerous
nieces, nephews, other family members, and friends.
