Noe Flores

Noe Flores, age 78, of Alvin was given his angel wings on July 15, 2020. He was born on May 17, 1942 in Hidalgo, Texas to parents, Antonio and Ramona (Farias) Flores. His family moved from LaVilla to Alvin in 1955. Noe married the love of his life, Ruth Garza, on November 4, 1967 in Alvin. 

Noe loved his family dearly, especially his grandchildren. Proud father and grandparent is an understatement. He also enjoyed getting out on the water and catching fish at any opportunity that he had. He was caring, firm, and encouraging. He saw the good in people and he also saw their potential. He was also a man who loved his Lord and Savior and he was one that reflected that love.  His family and friends will miss his smile and his “Howdy, howdy, howdy” but they know that one day they will see him and hear that as he welcomes them home. 

Noe was preceded in death by his parents, Antonio and Ramona Flores; his grandson Noe Flores III; one sister and four brothers. 

Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife, Ruth Flores of Alvin; children: Leonardo Flores of Manvel, Noe Flores II of Manvel, Rolando Flores of Alvin, and Jaime Flores of Alvin; brother Jesse Flores of Pearland; sisters: Stella Flores of Pearland, Mary Rodriguez of Santa Fe, Lenora Ybarra of Alvin, and Linda Martinez of Alvin; grandchildren: Karissa R. Flores (USCG), Christian I.  Flores (USMC), Natasha R. Flores, Caleb L. Flores, Rolando Flores II, Melanie A. Flores, Cyrus R. Flores, and Noah Flores; and numerous other family members and friends. 

A Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday, July 21, 2020 at 6:00 p.m. at Froberg Funeral Home at Oak Park, 300 Oak Park Drive, Alvin, Texas.
