Mr. Richard Boley, age 80 went to be with the Lord at his residence on February 1, 2021 surrounded by his family and friends. Richard was born on September 9, 1940 in Houston, Texas to parents, Bill Boley and Agnes Pollock Boley. He was longtime resident of Alvin, Texas, where he raised his family alongside his wife Sandra. After Sandra’s passing he married Marilyn and moved to Indiana to help care for Marilyn’s Father and Brother. After Marilyn’s passing he moved back to Alvin until the Lord called him home. He was a proud soldier in the U. S. Army from 1959-1965. He was a longtime Welder/Fabricator of heavy machinery and marine equipment as well as the owner operator of Statewide Mobile Services. He was preceded in death by his father and mother, his wife Sandra Vaughn Boley and his second wife, Marilyn Dant Boley; his brothers: Marcus Andrew Reynolds, Thomas Allen Reynolds, Frank Lynn Reynolds; and sister Viola Mae Boley Hartt.
Those left to cherish his memories include his children and their spouses: Brent & Stacy Binford, Josh & Alicia Boley, Jason & Elena Boley, Lesa Kay Powell & Sis & Joedy Murphy; brothers: John Audie Reynolds, Joseph Edward Reynolds; sister: JoNell Wehling; grandchildren: Willie, Blake, Travis, Katie, Savannah, Madison, (Sunny) Jason, Noah, Abigail, McKenzie & Josh; great grandchildren: Brayden, Lane, Stella, Vivian, Levi, Ivy & Cooper; Sweet Puppies: Babe, Lucy, Rosie and Chester; and numerous other family members and friends.
Visitation will begin at 1:00 p.m. with the funeral service following at 2:00 p.m. at Oak Park Funeral Home with Pastor Ryan Olivier officiating. Interment will follow at Confederate Cemetery. Pallbearers will be: Joedy Murphy, Joshua Murphy, Josh Boley, Jason Boley, Travis Shafer, Brent Binford & (Sonny) Jason Richard Boley, Jr.
